Glad to hear all went well and it's not a surprise that everyone had a good time. Hats off to you guys, you're one hellava of great group. Many of us also wish we could have been there too. Now you're another step closer to the finish line Mark!:upthumbs . Thanks for sharing those great pics Barry.

PS 85 emails of spam! See there's the advantage of using the PM's .. they are only from CAC members and only holds 30, no spam!;LOL. I'm sure you won't let me away with that shot right?

Thanks Doug,
Too bad you guys live so far away... It would have been grate having all of the Canadian guys down for the get to gether. But we will see you at Carlisle if Bob can manage not to collect on that agreed value policy....on the way too and from Bowlingeen.....

Best of luck with getting the car back on the streets. I never drove one of the 502's But I have driven my 66 with the L72 and my understanding is the 502 is a lot stronger,

Needless to say your in for a real treat. Its real hard to keep your foot out of it,

I dont know if you south jersey guys know it but there is a pretty big show this sunday at the gardenn state plaza rt 17 and rt4 in paramus.

This is whats left of the old ramapo colledge show.Last 3 years it was at the sheridan cross roads hotel in Mahwah NJ This is its first year at the mall so I am not sure of what the turn out will be,

Larry

for guys in South Jersey, Paramus is NORTH Jersey - that's like a whole other state!

We had a hard enough just agreeing what areas are considered SOUTH Jersey...... ;LOL

Sorry guys, I think I am off topic here.

Is there going to be a corvetteactioncenter booth at Carlisle? I am on the west caost right now, but I am trying to convince my dad to get in the 1966 and drive from Oregon to Carlisle for a holiday. Ihave been the the spring swap and somewhat enjoyed myself. I need a holiday and there is nothing better than taking a brake with my father. Is the 6 day drive worth it? Just say yes, I need all the reasons I can get. oWEN

yes
:)

last year was my first time at Carlisle and it boggled my mind! so many beautiful cars EVERYWHERE and all the vendor booths. it was like the Mecca for corvettes.
just be aware that August in Pa. is usually VERY HOT AND HUMID! other than the heat, it's a great show to be at and my wife and I can't wait to go back this year.

Barry,

The Spring swap was my first trip there and I was overwelmed. I usually do all shows and swaps with my father and I was completely lost I wandered around in a daze. I can not wait for the vette show. I am itching to see cars and just BS with others who are interested in the same. Plus it will be my fathers first trip there. oWEN

Mark - I wasn't totally clean. I dripped some juice from the hot peppers on my nice new shirt. Also, your 65 was so clean, I would have had to crawl arround on the ground like Bill to get dirty. Great day and lots of time for B/S. I liked Rob's comment about the 64 we rolled in as the next 'victim'. Full restore on a red with black interior - oops - it is supposed to be silver with red! Stuff happens! Your car looks great. Maybe my 66 will be ready for the engine fire-up party.

Thanks ....When I first installed the supercharger on the 86...I was outa control for about a month. It was spin the tires and race every thing that looked at me wrong. I finally cam to my senses and calmed down.

This time with the 502 ..I expect after clutch and motor breake in thet a I will only lose control for about a week.. :L

And Like Barry says..... Paramus NJ is like going to Canada from here... :D

his rear tires are a bit wider so i'll give him a few days longer than yours.
of course, he will be showing that car off at Cruisefest so i'm wondering if he may have to buy new tires just to make the drive back home after he finishes showing off while there :D

I have no doubt your car is going to be the main attraction in BG this year.

I am in down in A/C quite a bit during the winter months,And I get to know the dealers from spending way too much time with them.Anyways when I explained where I am from they say anything above Newark is considered Southern NY and I was considered a "Benny"

Never did understand what there talking about but as long as I keep getting chips from them they can call me anything they want.

Larry

the last company I worked for had their corporate offices up in Ramsey, NJ than moved them last year up the road a few miles to Mahwah.

I always considered that area to just be an extension of NY rather than being NJ ;LOL

let me know when you are coming back to AC - It's only about 1 1/2 hours from me and I'd be happy to drive there and meet you.

That is why I think you should let me have / drive the car the first month so that it gets broken in properly. :D

I think the car should stay with me for a while. i'm further away from all that salt air :D
