Hi everyone.
Merry and a Happy to one and all.
I have a question.
Where can I find a bracket bolt for my hard top convertible?
Its a small 'Torx' head bolt 8 mm x 1.25 that attaches the pillar bracket to the hard top and body.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Tom.

We have a local hardware that carries metric bolts of all kinds and sizes I go their for what I need.
Also Fastenall has them don't know about NJ

Unless you are anal about having OEM parts you can find bolts at any fastener specialty store, like Fastenal. I purchased large allen head stainless bolts for mine and they work just fine. I did paint them flat black to match interior. I do not remember size, take your bracket with you and they can match threads.

Hi .
Thanks everyone for your input.
I just wanted all the bolts to match, especially with the Torx head, so I wouldn't have to work with two different wrenches.
The service/parts dept. at two different dealerships both said that the part was discontinued, and none were available, 'Pep Boys' didn't have anything like it either.. I called around and will next seek out some Corvette recycling yards.
Tom.

Corvette Central lists the bolts Part# 434031 @ 7.50 per pair. You will also need washers for them. Hope that helps.

Mike .
Thanks, for the help, and info!
I ordered the part from Corvette Central. 7 Dollars for two not bad, of course the shipping and handling cost 8 dollars.
But who's complaining.
I'll have my matching screws soon.
Have a Happy New Year!
Tom.
