Nice car !! colour combo !!

buy it now price seems fair $33.500,- for an aerobodied car.

This may, or may NOT be the same car however, I saw this ad and thought I would post the info:

Looks like a nice car, but there's something about it that doesn't sit right with me. Seems like a car with this low of miles should be cleaner in the engine bay. I'm also inclined to think that the engine bay would nickle and dime me to death. There's a lot of heat wrap damage, an intake runner dented, AC like dented/kinked and that's just what I can see. Then there's the front end that needs to go to the body shop.

If the Buy It Now price was lower I may have hit it :)

Frank, call the tel # listed in the secondary ad for the car above - make an offer :cool :upthumbs

p.s. I split the thread for clarity :cool :m

Hmm... maybe it is because I'm not as big a fan of Corvettes, but don't the side mirrors look funny? I've never seen any like that. My dad's vette has little plastic add-ons on the side mirrors for aerodynamics, but these appear to be 1 piece.

:eek good lord!

Those are expensive side mirrors! I've seen the stalker kit on a Corvette before, and the rear looks kind of nice, but I never thought it was very expensive.

I am surprised too, as your car when I drove it, pulled strong in the three gears I accelerated in, putting ~50hg's of boost :cool

Body was nicer than you had described and that owners kit - the 2 parts you have - those are priceless!

If I did not have my cars I do, I would certainly consider it - for the money, it seems to be a no-brainer :eek

Steve, if it really was out of gas, the seller should have his Turbo-Card revoked :ugh

We all know these cars buck and stumble if below an 1/8th of a tank :eek I would not let mine go below a 1/4 tank, just to be sure...

Thanks for checking it out :m

Are you sur about that Chris? I have heard that you have run out of gas several times... You have to drive in the gas station and pump gas into the car... Not just drive by and wave hello... Ps never believe the DTE milage display I have heard they can be misleading.

Who told you that???

..at least down here, they LOAN you a gas can vs. charging you $5.99 for a 3/4 gal. jerry-can :ugh

yes it was, i see regular 87 converts going in the 10 k range , a callaway can't even get an opening bid of 18k? i don't get it. i had 39 watchers, and no one bid, not even one question.

Seems like my wife beat you to it, spending my money that is!

We picked up a new Denali $$$, so no B2K for a while... But there is the '68 Mustang Convertible that could go... :)
