My brakes work fine when I start out, but after 10 miles or so I loose all stopping power, I can pump them fast and get enough to stop but this is scary as heck. My brake light is always on, any idea on where to start with this problem? I have had problems with soft brakes since I bought the car and I took it to several mechanics and each one told me something different and never really fixed the issue. The only thing they havent really gone through is the booster, Is there a way to test this and see if it is performing correctly? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

start with the rotors and bearings and check run out... don't misinterpret my late night post about the calipers.... if your rotors are right then do the calipers...

frankly save up for some calipers as they do rot out no matter what you do...

but deal with the runout issue first to be sure you don't chase your tail later....and oh yeah I would not drive the car like that... its really dangerous
