I am looking to replace front calipers and rotors. I have found kits from BAER, Willwood, Brembo and AP racing, but most of them ask to replace rims to corvette ZR1 or other.
Are there any brake kits that work on the stock rims/wheels?
I have been struggling with sponginess ever since I remember. I have replaced pads, rotors, brake fluid, purged the brake line, replaced caliper hose to stainless steel braided, but no big improvement.
The braking is terrible and it might sound contradictory, but the brakes get hot very quick.
I also plan on replacing the master cylinder when getting the calipers.
Or should I do one thing at a time?
