I need to have some advice about how to adjust the Stop Lamp, TCC, and cruise control switch.

Here is what I have been doing.

1. Push the switch all the way against the brake pedal.

2. Depress the brake and bottom out the switch.

3. Release the brake and pull it back away from the floor until the switch stopped clicking.

As soon as I drive the car the switch moves and the adjustment I have is lost.

What am I not doing right that the switch will not stay in position in the bracket?

Can I do anything to cure this problem or is the barrel of the switch worn to the point that it cannot stay put.?

One last question has anyone put 5 minute epoxy on one of these and adjusted it and waited for the glue to cure and have it work?
