Brake Pads?

Brake Pads? How much do you spend on BRAKE PADS. Also, what brand name do you prefer. THANKS

I've used Bosch over the years without any problems. Pro Stop also seems to be a pretty good pad.

If you go ceramic, figure about $65 for the fronts and slightly less for the rears.

I went with Hawk HPS pads, got them off ebay for around $150 (IIRC).

I removed a set of PBR high metalic pads and replaced with a set of advanced auto parts Gold series ( about 50 bucks )

My only advice here is to REALLY think about what you use the car for.

If your coming out of turn 2 at Sebring raceway at 110 mph, go for the heavy metalic race pad or whatever. but if your car is street only, and your just trying to not hit the guy in front of you, consider a stock type pad.

I always buy OEM from Chris May at Superior Chevy in Kansas City.

I never have a dusting problem. No noises ever.

The original stuff works really well.

I do not autocross or race.

Just spirited street driving!

If you are not racing anyone, I just went to AutoZone and bought some OEM equivilent front pads..
