Hi,
I have a 1968 vette but I think that the brakes are a little soft.
I just bought the car a recently and fixed plenty of problems it had.
Well, the previous owner said he replaced all of the calipers with stainless steel ones. Is there any way to verify this and/or what am I looking for?
My first guess is that the system has air in it.
Also would there be any benefit from replacing the brakes shoes with a set of Hawk High Performance brake pads? How about slotted rotors?
This car is for driving on the street and having fun. The car has a supercharged 350 and it will fly. Just want to make sure I can stop when I have to.
Thanks
