After fighting with the brakes for a few days I went and got 2 new calipers(rear). Now it stops like it should, has a good pedal. When I removed the old ones they were full of crap around the pistons. The guy I bought them from thought they were the original ones. So now I can drive it around and hopefully it will stay corrected.

Also, while at the store I bought some new strut rods. The adjustable ones.

Hopefully get those in this week.

So in the past 2 weeks I've replaced the front wheel bearings, rear spring, fixed a leaking distributor gasket, new thermostat, installed some new weatherstripping, straightened out vacuum lines, replaced a broken exhaust hanger, and thats just stuff off the top of my head. At least the list is getting shorter.:ugh

Congrats on the brakes, just did the same thing myself this weekend. I had an annoying squeak in the rear and it turned out to be two leaking rear calipers. I replaced them 5 years ago, but can't find darn reciept for lifetime warranty. Oh well, bought new, working good now. I did the fronts also, why not since I got it all apart anyway. Now I am trying to figure out a "ticking" sound when its running. I suspect (hope) its an exhaust leak around the headers because it runs so good. I want a new dash and rear compartment doors once I get the mechanical stuff wrapped up. You are right, the list never ends!
