Break in for water pump and opti-spark

Water pump went bad on the 92. The opti-spark was pretty wet but working. I dediced to go the whole nine yards and put a new opti-spark in too. Does anyone know if there is a break in period in which I should behave and keep the revs down?

Common sense say go slow for a while, but what is a while?
