Break pedal removal

I'm in the process of removing my break booster on my 74. I've disconnected the master cylinder and have all 4 bolts loose from the break booster. I've removed the clip from the pin holding the break booster to the pedal. How do I remove the pin? It won't turn or push through. The one side has a head that definitely won't go through. The side that the clip was on looks too big to push through. Any ideas?

Ive never heard of someone removing the brake pedal by itself
Ive seen it out with its assembly.

Any idea how I get the rod that goes to the brake booster loose from the pedal?
