:( Is there anything I can use to eliminate so much breakdust build up on my aluminum rims ? I the same problem on my jeep too. They stay clean for maybe two days then start looking pretty dull. And also what can I use to put some shine on my 82 vette aluminum rims?
Thanks Donnavette82

You could probably use the same wax/polish that you use on
your paint to give your rims a little extra shine (after having
cleaned them with a mild soap). As for the brake dust, all you
can really do is replace your brake pads with pads that produce
less dust. There are many to choose from. My BMW's stock pads
produced 10 times more dust than my Vette's pads. I've replaced them with EBC pads, and the dust has been reduced.

I use Meguirs Spray detailer on my rims. The brake dust is here to stay, sorry to say.:t :bu
