I've got the Gran Turismo Brembo brake set on my '96 CE and after a couple of days out on the track I need to replace my brake pads. I can't believe Brembo wants $80 per pad that works out to $320 to replace my fronts, are they nuts? Anyhow, which brake pads should I buy to replace these? What size should I be looking for? Rotors are 332x32. thanks.

Try www.tirerack.com They have Hawk pads there and everyone says good things about the Hawk pads.

What kind of times did you put down at the track? An LT4 stroker must really haul!!!

You've got the "big reds" which are a OEM Porsche TT Caliper from 96-97

Just go to tire rack and order a set of the Hawk pads as mentioned. Also if you are tracking the car, you might consider the Hawk HP+ pads instead of the HPS.

I've got the same thing.

Jeff,
I called tirerack.com and the guy wasn't able to find me the Hawk pads. He gave me a quote for EBC's. Do you have the Hawk part number I should be ordering? That would help. thanks.

Don't have the part number handy, but the guy is a moron. It's a 96-97 Porsche TT pad

Here is a link to do online ordering.

Performance Friction makes a race pad for that caliper. I think the correct part number is: 7780.90.18.4.......

My brother owns http://www.vespeedsolutions.com Tell him I sent you and he'll give you a good price.
