bright lights!

I have a 1993 vert and the bright lights are stuck on. When I try to swich to low beams nothing happens-bright lights stay on. Has anyone encountered this problem or know how to fix it? Do I need to pull the steering wheel ?

This is just one of several threads on this subject you can find the others by searching for high beam switch. The rod they talk about sometimes jumps out of the switch and all you have to do is put it back in. Just remember you are working with old plastic parts that require extra care so they do not get broken. Good Luck and keep us informed how it goes for you.
