Bruiser Lives!!!!!! TZracer's first drive!!!

It is official, as of today 6/15/03 TZracer took his 71 super freaky big block coupe on its maiden voyage. He first went around the block, then headed for my house to top off the a/c freon and go for a milkshake at Sonic.

This is a HUGE achievement, as TZracer plans on driving his 71 coupe (aka Bruiser) to Bowling Green for the 50th!!!!! He now has 36 miles and all is well.

For those of you that don't know, Dave and I have worked very close to complete my 69 aka Killer and his 71. His project has been one year to the day behind mine in terms of hitting the street for the very first time. Yep....one year ago this very weekend was my first drive as well. How ironic? Not to mention, I gave Bruiser the flare job and did a little massage work on the body. No wonder it and Killer look so much alike...eh?

It must be great to do a project like that, and have it come to life. Upgrading a piece at a time is fun, don't get me wrong, but doing everything at once, and then firing it up, has to be like getting a new car. But one that is exactly how you want it
