I'm changing the bushing on the suspension this winter , poly or rubber? I only put about 800 miles on the car per yr. just use for cruising. I hear a lot about poly and how long they last but lots of squeaking. has anyone been disappointed after putting them in.

that's me, I think your right, the poly would be more for the guy running hard. I'm old and slow!

I used poly- but I drilled all of the shells, thru the poly and cut slight grooves into the ID of the bushings so if they get squeaky I can grease them.

I read more and more that some older poly mounts start to crumble by now. So I'll just stick with the proven rubber ones. :)

Greetings Peter

I rebuilt the entire front and rear suspension 4 yrs ago. All rubber bushings. I had ordered a set of poly body mounts and when I recieved them I cound not see how they would cushen anything because the where hard as a rock. Sent them back. So far the rubber is working just fine all around and I do drive the car hard at times
