buying 1st vette

Hello
I am new to this site and is very helpfull. I am buying my 1st vette and it is between a 93 l1300 with 88000miles and a 94 L300 with 100000. The 94 comes with fx suspention and a 30 day warranty. They both look sharp and check out clean on carfax. They are both 14,500 Any suggestions

in my opinion, i would get the 94.. i like that interior better..

granted, that is assuming both cars are in equal condition.. despite the mileage, if well taken care of, these engines will damn near last forever..... :cool

have you seen these cars in person?? know the previous owner?? have you driven each one??

oh - and what do the l1300 and L300 abbreviations mean?? i am not familiar with them...

Welcome to the site,usually the newer the better but this seems a toss up good luck

I agree that mileage is dependent apon the care given.
There is a mental thing when you see that 6th digit !
I had bought a 79 Firebird Formula with 116k on it and it ran perfect so it is a matter of price.

You might also want to concider the resale issues down the road.
Again the mental games of 100k come into any buyers head.

Just to compare,
I bought my 93 in Sept.
It had 50k on it and I paid $12,500 in a private sale.
Drove it a good 2000 miles before putting it away for the winter.
Only problem to speak of was a bad battery.

thank you for your imput. I decided to go with the 94 black vette. Should be getting it in about a week. I will post to let you know how it is. Looking forward to my first vette
