C1 Soft Top Question

The installer who is going to do my top said he thought there was a product available to protect the paint finish from abrasion from the soft top when it's up. He thought it was a clear film that could be applied to the painted surface that would stay there via static negating the need for adhesives or a permanent installation. Has anybody heard of this or know where I can buy it? :confused

OOps, looks like you're looking for one for your C-1, the above # is for C-2. Don't believe these folks handle C-1 parts, but several places it should be available anyway.

Thanks for the great source for mid year parts. I'll book mark that one for my '66. The top I'm replacing is on my '60, I should have been more specific.

No problem, my mistake. If I'd looked I'd have seen your mid-year was a coupe, not much need for a decklid protector for a coupe.:L

just make sure it is clean it will scratch and not stick correctly when put on. i use one on my car works well if body and the plastic are clean.keeps chaffing to a min steve
