C1 Transmission Question

I have a 1961 with the standard Muncie 4-speed. Has anyone made the swap to a Borg Warner T5 with internal linkage? Interested in comments from anyone who has.

Maybe you already know this but just for reference... your 61 Vette originally came with a Borg Warner T-10 and many were converted to Muncies as this was a more heavy duty unit.
