WOW Great job documenting this.I guess you have created a web site?

Now when you go to reassemble, get your self some nice moving blankets to put on your bench so you dont scratch anything.

You know now you have to show us how to put it back together.

I agree....great job with the pictures and documentation. Now that I'm armed with this information, I think I'll start mine this weekend.

Many thanks, Studiog

The pics are great! Amazing how everything has more parts than you expect it would. Thank goodness for digital cameras and the internet and you guys doing these restorations taking the time to log it and walk us through it with you. So is it going as smooth as you expected with the windshield trim or is it more difficult than you expected? Your patience is a definate asset! Great watching it come together like this so please keep the pics coming as you go.:upthumbs

Studiog
great pics.
Are you going to have the car done in time for Carlisle this year?

OK Doug

you have more posts on here than a lot of the vette owners and you are always posting encouraging responses and PM's.
When the hell are you finally going to break down and get a Vette of your own? Granted, I'm sure after getting rides with Bob in 67Heaven any "normal" Vette is a bit of a letdown ;LOL but you really need to find one for yourself now.

OUCH!!!!;LOL ;LOL ;LOL . Believe me I'd love to go for it, the heart says yes but the pocket book says ........ just go over to Bobs and enjoy his! If I had the cash right now I'd really be in a dilema what years to choose from but I can honestly say after spending all this time with Bob and you all here I have the "Bug" but for now I'll just have to keep appeciating other peoples vettes for now and just keep enjoying my Z28! I do enjoy following all these resto's though Barry and with you guys posting these fantastic pics all the time..........thank you. It allows all of us to enjoy it with you. Keep it up and I'll see you in Carlisle my friend!!!!!;LOL :beer Looking forward to it Barry!

ahhhhhhh, I see now....... you have the same thoughts on Vettes that I have on boats.
the emotional side say's "I want one, I want one" but my financial commensense side of me say's "if my friend has one, I have one(to enjoy when invited of course), so why get myself into the same moneypit".
:D

Sorry to hijack your thread Studiog. now back to the previously scheduled program.

Larry, Larry, Larry, I would NEVER do anything to muck up things for Bob.
I only wished Doug to have a Vette for his own happiness - not to have him stop helping Bob. But you wished he lived closer to you which would take him away form helping 67Heaven. ;LOL ;LOL
As for your car, the amount of work and progress you have put into her in the relatively short amount of time since you started on it (I realize I'm not counting the months or years you planned this car before getting the actual car) is unbelievable. I can't wait to be able to see it at Carlisle.

Stuidog,

You have to be getting close to launch date do you have a tentative date for you first test drive?

Great set of pictures and I am sure it will help some C-1 owners.

Barry, I am really pushing for Carlisle. But I hope to be there even if the car isn't done.

I hate to set a date, but I'm hoping by mid to late summer to be done. The back orders are killing me and now I have to send out my windshield posts to the rechromer.
