C16 interior

Does anyone have a picture of a C16 interior prior to it being covered in alcantara and leather? I'm curious how they are achieving such perfect fitting pieces.

Anybody have any knowledge about how they do the interiors?

I don't collect magazine articles about C16s, but I bet some magazine has talked about the process by now if any of you guys could share.

Brandon, some of the leather is an overlay, other parts replace the factory coverings.

Some parts are "painted," or dyed to match. It is a neat process of sure! :cool

On another messageboard we've been discussing methods for upgrading the interiors in f-bodies, and the C16 interior has been an inspiration. It's perfect! Not a single wrinkle in any of the covered pieces.

I took the Speedster interior as an example for my 81 interior!
The shop that is going to wrap my interior in leather sayed it would take around 5 (cow) skins to compleet the job. Much of a skin can not be used because the leather is to harsh (neck and leg etc pieces). To make it fit all the pieces that connect to other pieces will be shaved but in the end it will be a perfect interior.
I hope to bring my car to the shop around november 08 if you guys want I could update you how they do it overhere in Holland
