C2 Owners- Who have removed their dash

For those C2 guys out there who have removed their dash (I have, hated the job, but no this is not requesting advice on how to do it better next time), did you see and crayon or chalk numbers/letters on the brace, such as that shown below? Did you clearly not see anything, even a hint of anything there? Thanks in advance, this is a little research item.

I just did mine less than a month ago and I also saw some chalk numbers. Not sure what they mean.
 
those are job numbers - found numbers jsut like you found in four different places when I had my 1963 Z06 tore apart
 
just interested in the numbers on the dash brace, and thanks for all who have responded thus far - would really like to hear from someone who recorded the numbers they saw, esp. if not the same as what they knew to be a three-digit job number . . .

Mine looked like your, at least the last two digits (23), the first two are pretty obscured from overspray, and hard to confirm in the pictures I have. I didn't care to pay much attention to them when the dash was out.
 
found the 3-digit number "394" in FOUR different places, to include the area you were asking about
