C2- Size of muncie shift alignment tool?

I lost my alignment tool (ie: misplaced it in the mess I call a garage). I remember a post by JohnZ about the exact size (think it was on the other forum. don't have search capability there). Searched here and didn't find the info.

Any help appreciated.

Guess I shouldn't have been so lazy, just paging back through the posts I was able to find it:

The gage tool for the slot is 1/8" thick x .646" wide x 3" long; you'll need to bend it for access in the car. The adjustment procedure is in the M20 section of the Assembly Manual, and in the Chassis Service Manual

I'm glad you stayed around in the hobby John. As a general rule, most people don't enjoy a hobby that closely mirrors their job function (I do computer programming and pretty much avoid all computer activity when off work).

I've always been a "car guy", but no longer have to get up at 4:30 AM, be in the plant by 6:15, and wonder how many absentees we'll have to get covered when the line starts at 6:30, then get measured at the end of every day as the Plant Manager for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale, and leave for home by 6:00 PM (maybe). My schedule these days is much more relaxed, with zero pressure - works for me!
