It is so very difficult to locate ANY custom made C3 chrome pieces...I am not speaking about the run of the mill air cleaner tops, master cylinder covers etc..those we can find anyplace.....I have looked and looked and cannot any pieces that cover the engine area inner fender wells., lower fender wells, under the alternator etc.....
To that issue, I have fabricated 5 seperate pieces which fit those areas. Next step is to grind down the edges a bit....make sure the fit is good again and send off to be chromed. The chrome quote I received was about $75.00 per piece..which is IN LINE with what is being paid today by C5 owners for their multitude of chrome choices.....
If any CAC member knows of any chrome business that offers pieces that are out of the ordinary, would appreciate letting me know. When the pieces are done, I'll post a pic..probably a few weeks away at least....
