C3 headlights

I know this has been done, but I cant find it so please help me.

I need to know how to adjust the haed light housings on a 1977.

The headlight covers hit the body when they open and get stuck.

I pretty good at working on cars but cant figure this thing out.

There is about 8 adjustments on those.The whole assembly is held on by a horse shoe shaped bracket.Buy an assembly manual,it tells all.The easiest way to get to the bolts are through the grill area and the hood opening.

Invest in a copy of the glass-RA books for the C3's. One copy covers the complete rebuild and setup of the headlights. THis book is better then most vette manuals on the market,it was written by a bodyman with over 30 years experience rebuilding vettes.
