Question: C3 mufflers

It's time to change the sound of my 1973 (currently 356k on the clock). I'd like some units that looked somewhat like they were stock, but I'd like to get some deep throated sound. Is this a possibility by getting the right mufflers? Has anybody out there got any ideas for me? This is currently a fun car, so loud is good. Tom please give me some feed back at: sahrleco10@msn.com just in case it makes a difference it has 10.1:1 compression and L82 cam

I have Flowmasters with factory tips....sounds great and too look you would barely know the diffrence.

I had Flowmaster 50 series on my 70 and loved them. Deep sound with no resonance.
