C3 owner from the Netherlands joining

I am a new '81 C3 owner in the Netherlands, who bought this car from an idividual who purchased it in CA for export.
However, all rubber suspension parts were replaced first by a CA garage prior to shipping, along with some other repairs.
As the paint had suffered from the California sunshine, it was due for a repaint, which is currently carried out.
This is taking a bit of time, as the shop is busy with accident repairs, which seem to happen during wintertime
Can't wait 'till she is ready in the spring, but in the meantime, she's waiting there, warm and dry
