hello, i try not to bother you with the small stuff, but nowone is repying to my other thread. would you know the c.f.m. on the 99 intake manifold.and the 2001 intake?i might make the swap along with a larger throttle body,to match my halltech t-1 and descreened m.a.s. thanks, later,Todd.

Hi there,
Honestly, both intakes can support 500+horsepower.
The advantage to the 01 and newer intake manifolds, is that the lower floor of the intake give a broader torque curve, better power, and faster incoming air velocity. As far as the throttle body, there is alot there which should be considered. The larger throttle body will give better top end horsepower, in sacrifice of lower rpm throttle response, because of the larger diameter. This will lower intake air velocity. Adding in the larger throttle body with the 01 intake will increase throttle response, as the 2 will work together, so you get the larger throttle body for higher rpm and the intake for lower throttle response. However, as stated earlier, it will NOT react the same as before.
Is it worth it?? NOT if you are going for raw power numbers.
If you are looking for better throttle response, yes, then maybe.
I hope this helps, c4c5:hb

aloha, thanks for your input, on payday i will be buying the manifold for sure, still thinking about the throttle body.sounds like the plenum/manifold is a must.later,Todd.
