So pulled the drive shaft in my '89 convertible to replace the u-joints and discovered that they used a 2-piece yoke with a rubber torsion ring (similar setup to the engine balancer), and it is bad...center section is "cocked" sideways (probably due to vibration from the bad u-joints). What I want to do is replace this with a 1-piece solid unit from an earlier C4. Question is...is the yoke the same length? (which means the drive shaft would have to be the same length).
