c4 headlight woes, here we go again

ok so my 92 is gonna need bushings, i fixed them on my 88 without a problem. I have heard rumors that the delrin bushings are available at lowes or home depot for like 80 cents a piece, is this true? and if so what is the part number? or what do i tell them i need?

Hi, apparently they're available from Home Depot, for about that but someone said to go to Autozone first and buy one for a Ford,as they are the same, then use that as a guide to get the correct size. Roger.

If your going put the time into replacing the bushings, then I'd just buy the correct parts. The real bushing kit is only $12. The hardware store bushings might look the same, but they may not be the same.

Hi, They ARE the same. The Ford bushes are for the electric windows, go for a Taurus or F150. Roger.

Hi, I would say same year as your vette but I believe they are all the same. I repaired the headlamp motor bushes on an older jap car with the same type that did my vette. Roger.
