C4 or C5 brakes on a C3?

I know I read a thread about someone installing either C4 or C5 brake rotors and calipers on a C3. From what I recall, it was actually almost a bolt-on installation (just a little bit of machining was required, to remove some unnecessary metal that was causing interference, if I remember correctly).

Anyone remember who did this? I've tried searching for the thread, but can't find it.

Thanks. I contacted him, and he said he's still working on adapting the calipers and hoses.

It certainly does seem like a do-able conversion, although I wonder if some of the other (bolt-on) aluminum caliper solutions might be simpler...
