Has anyone found a source for C4 power seat track gears, a rebuild kit for the transmission gear assy and or a rebuilt gear box assy?
Yes I am well aware of the many outfits that offer exchange rebuilt seat tracks. I paid $199 for one about 5 years ago.
If there are not parts available as was the case 5 years ago then who offers the cheapest exchange power seat track?
Thanks for any input.

I think both Mid-America and Ecklers cost the same to re-build the seat tracks. I also think they both use the same rebuilder lol. I've been told the reason there's no Kit for consumers is because the bar(s) between left and right tracks must be cut and re-welded, it's not a simple screwdriver task. I can't verify that however. If you do find a way to reasonably do the fix, please post it with pics. There're lotsa ppl who need a better solution than $500 for two seats, me is one.
If anyone knows more about the actual repair please jump right in here. Thanks

Send me your e-mail address and I'll forward an e-mail I got from Keen parts. It has 2 pictures with it.They just started selling rebuilt seat transmissions.$99 ea.I plan on ordering one later this year.

I can. It's true. I had a die grinder in my hand and almost went at it.

Instead I paid the big bucks for a rebuilt seat frame. It works great but the price was high.

Got the pics you sent. Question: It still looks like I must cut and reweld the bars. Is that true?
