C4 Rear Bearing and spindle on C3

I am by no means an expert on this but I am thinking this is going to take quite a bit of fabrication to make it work. I like the idea though.

Im sure it would take some fab work. But it would make future bearing changes much cheaper and easier.

63-82 rear spindles and bearings will easily last 40,000 miles and up with no maintenance required- if assembled correctly. Failures of these units are almost unheard of.

For most owners of C3s, that represents least a few decades of usage.

I think it will be very difficult (at the back) to find parts with the exact backspacing to connect to your half shaft. In the font the same thing. Big change you'll need different rims because the ET changed. Just a thought.
