c5 2000 starter problems

hi all ,iam experiencing a problem with my vette, when first starting it ,it fires up no problem , however if i got for a drive and turn the ignition off and re-start it ,it needs two turns of the key to start up again
can some one help ,ive been told its the fuel pump but i have had that changed and still the problem persists

Do you have the engine turning over, or do you not get anything at all?????
Are there any codes in the PCM?????
Please let us know what you have.
