I have heard of a Power Antenna shut off accessory that you can buy (keeps the antenna from going up when you just use the CD player (not the radio...only for the Roadsters/Convertibles). Just wondering how hard it is to install and where I can order one from, who makes it, etc..........been looking around at the Corvette Accessory suppliers but maybe I am using the wrong wording for my search...........any help would be appreciated........Greg in Michigan;shrug

I got mine out of a catalog like Ecklers, or maybe MidAmerica. When I recieved the kit I brought it to my audio guy and had him install it. Quick and easy and I love it. I never put it up, and still get almost all radio stations. He hid the switch on the floor, on the outside of the driver seat, up on the rail. Can't even see it.

I installed mine a few weeks ago. The hardest part is running the wiring to where ever you decide to put the switch and that isn't that hard. I ordered mine from MidAmerica and instructions came with it. I put the switch inside the console and it works really nice. I don't think that I have had the antenna up since I installed the switch.
