Can i remove the mufflers off of my c5 and straight pipe it without having issues with the cpu?

Removing the mufflers will not affect the engine computer but...you may not like the drone noise at highway speeds. That said, the car will, indeed, be loud and attention-getting.

Very. Yes, obnoxious loud. Not to me.

The computer controls are in front of your mufflers, you won't set any codes except police codes.

Start messing with your catalytic converter and yes, you can set PCM codes.

Took the mufflers off my C5 and put on the Borla Stinger system, which is just thru pipes with a glass pack like past in each. Sounds great!! I don't feel they are too loud, and it is ok driving down the freeway.

Yes you can.. The question is do you enjoy talking to your passenger without yelling??
