It depends Remo, I like Boston for a fired up drive. Then there is James Taylor for a little "slow drivin'" ;) I like most 60 and 70's rock and roll .

Cruising Tunes

Remo,

Great idea for a thread.

I make my own CD's usually from "Greatest Hits" CD's.
Some of us OFs should recognize these tunes;

Doobie Bros.---China Grove
My Maria--BW Stevenson
Don't pull your love---Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds
I can dream about you---Dan Hartman
Oh Girl--The Chi Lites
Carolina in the pines---Michael M. Murphy
Black Magic Woman---Santana
Shining Star---the Manhattans
Midnight Train to Georgia---Gladys Knight and the Pips
Sherry---Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons (Two weeks ago we saw "The Jersey Boys" musical in DC and have been humming their tunes ever since.)
Cold as Ice---Foreigner
Rich Girl---Hall &Oates
Believe---Cher
River of Dreams---Billy Joel
Sweet Home Alabama---Lynard Skynard
Who'll stop the rain---CCR
Slow Hand---Pointer Sisters
I can't help myself---Four Tops
My girl---Temptations
"Only You" and "The Great Pretender"---The Platters---If you remember these two don't tell anyone how old you are.

......just to name a few.

Enjoy the ride in safety and....
Keep 'em rollin' :W

You have many good ones there, Bill. :thumb

I usually can be found listening to my Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax or Testament collections while driving the 'vette. David Lee Roth era Van Halen is a good choice too.

I usually have the 12 CD changer loaded with Doo Wop recordings, but also add great guitar stuff like Dire Straits and Warren Haynes Gov't Mule.
I have a couple of CDs that are simply recordings of Wolfman Jack's show from the early 60's. Then there are scatterings - Tommy James and the Shondells, The Rolling Stones, Beach Boys. And of course my all time favorite group, The Cars.

How can you be a car guy and not love The Cars?
