C5 LS1 - Bolt On HP Increases

Just wondering if anyone knows what HP my LS1 gained from the CORSA Touring Exhaust and K&N Dual Cone Air Filters with Large Intake Tube that were on my 2000 LS1 when I bought it.

6 Shooter. Realistically, you are only looking at about 10 - 15 rwhp gains from these mods. A great start but do not expect huge gains. The only real way to tell is to put you car on a dyno. Ideally, you would need to base line it first then add the mods and run it on the dyno to determine the net gains in HP. Have fun.

I'd say 15 or so and most of that from the intake kit.

LS6 Bolt On HP Increases: I'd say I have around 425, ...

...per the GM Performance LS6/Clutch Pkg. installation last summer. ​

This estimate sound about right to y'all?​

If you're bolting the LS6 into a C5 previoulsy equipped with an LS1 and the car already had both a Corsa exhaust and the K&N intake kit, you'll be at 425 BUT ONLY if you also have the cats off an 02-04 Z06 and you've got the right calibration in the ECM.

I hope to have headers and new exhaust installed prior to having the ECM calibrated to reap maximum HP from the LS6! :cool
