Well, I was thinking of using the belt trim (AKA door ding molding) as a cue and run a smaller pinstripe right below to better fade them together, kinda like the old C3 two tones. The key to tie the colors together is the pinstripe. I was also looking at either metallic green or magnetic red as the other color, on top of the white. I did some color fades with paint shop. Mind you, I just adjusted the contrast to get a rough view. I will post themCORed91 said:I agree with Andy.
Since I first saw this thread this afternoon, I've been trying to figure out how one would do a two-tone application to the C5. Even with BSM, the car just doesn't seem to lend itself to how you could do a two tone unless you did some sort of fade effect from one color to another. And I'm not sure how well that would work.
If anyone's done a two tone aftermarket paint job, and I mean something other than striping or a flame effect, I'd be interested to see the results.
