1982 Silver Coupe (Sold!), New C5 in 3 weeks!
Hi All,
What is the standard wheel size on the front and rear of a C5 Corvette? Plus, are the Z06 wheels different to the standard Corvette wheels?

Basically, I need to know both the standard and Z06 wheel sizes and whether they are interchangeable between models?

Also, if anyone should know what the largest size wheel that will fit a standard C5 Corvette without modifying the wheel arches, please give me that information too!

Cheers
Dazza

OK, C5 wheels are 17/245/8.5 front. 18/275/9.5 rear.
Z06 are 17/275/9.5 front and 18/305 or 315/10.5 rear.
I think these numbers are correct. Someone please make sure, Thanks. I hope this helps.

C5 wheel size's are as follows" 17x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears. Z06 are 17x9.5 fronts and 18x10.5 rears. You can run Z06 wheels on a c5 no problem, but you will have to get the correct size tires as the stock c5 size tires will not look right with the wide wheels. I hope this helps!

Does anyone know if the std. C5 wheels can be fitted onto a C3?

Danl72,
You got most of it correct, except for the Z06 actual tire width. The fronts are 265-40 the rears are 295-35 as they come from the factory. The tire sizes you listed looked more on the order of what came on the ZR-1, 275-40 front 315-35 rears. Not jumping on your case just a small adjustment.

Could they be fitted? More than likely, how eaisly can it be done? I have no clue.

Theres a pre-91 C4 around here w/ Y2ks on it, so i would assume as long as all the variables (back spacing, lug location, lug size etc, etc...) match, it shouldn't be that big a problem
