Gee, lucky us: over 1" of heavy snowy slop by noon when it changed to cold rain....just a luvlee Spring...NOT! No motorcycle riding and no Corvette either...good grief. DFO ;shrug

Colorado weather report: today (Thursday, April 12, 2007), we can expect rain around lunch time, and it will turn into snow in the mid-afternoon. Winter storm warnings have gone up all over the front range, and the prediction, before this storm blows out of here on Friday evening, is that we could get a foot of snow.

:eyerole

I am so done with winter. I hate this useless, pointless season that doesn't have the good grace to know it's supposed to be gone, now. Once CruiseFest is over, and we're into July, I'm going to consult a specialist about constructing a voodoo doll to represent the period of time between December 21, 2007 and March 21, 2008. This will be my winter voodoo doll, and I plan to torment it mercilessly.

Mind Meld @ CriuseFest

Patrick,

Let's work on this together at CruiseFest. Perhaps we could work out a chant or even better...."remote view" future weather and modify accordingly. Patrick...why are you looking at me like that?

(the winter hasen't affected me that much....)

Hey Remo, maybe you, Guy, myself, and any others that want to come, could plan a "No Vettes Cruise" for Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Meet up at some restaurant and comiserate with each other/cry in our drinks! At least it would be something to do!!!
Andy :w
Still got the snow tires on the Crown Vic so I should be good to go!

It doesn't take much to remind me why I moved out of New England (RI) and moved to Myrtle Beach after I retired. It took all of one month. I've already got a decent tan and everybody drives around with their tops down or off. Not a happy time for Corvette owners or golfers. I remember it well and I hope the misery ends for y'all soon and you can all get out there with your beautiful corvettes.

Spring Time in New England

Sunday April 15th and it's doing it again. Heavy wet snow - about two inches
so far and it's scheduled to keep snowing and raining for the next several days. Washed the car yesterday (40 degree heat wave) pulled it right back into the garage. The prozac seems to help.

Remo, It's been raining here in Pa. since last night, it's a bit cold also, weather in the northeast sucks, oh well, I guess I'll help the neighbor finish the Ark........Prozac you say...................

Line Lock..............

See, if you had line lock, you could light em' up in Guys garage and not get it wet:upthumbs
I can't complain, the 62 is still waiting for the headers to come back from Jet Hot. I did get the remote oil filter done and the leaf springs should be done by the end of next week. Never did anything with them, so I guess it's time for them and shocks while I'm at it.

Remo

Look at the positive in it. The Vette is all clean & ready to go. After
this storm finally clears us, the roads will be all pressure washed and
we can take the cars right out and not have to wait for the winter sand
to be cleaned up. :D

As A wise man said to me today "if there are roads left";)

Remo - You planning on retiring up there in da great nasty white northeast? ;shrug

L8TR - D

Let's see....where should I retire?
1. There's good old middle America (with all those swell tornados).
2. How about the Northwest (algae on the north side of every tree).
3. Then there's the Southeast (love the humidity and big bugs).
4. The Southwest - really nice June through September (redefining arid).

I think I'll stick with the Northeast. True the winters can be tedious but late April through mid November is very pleasant. There's something nice about having four very distinct seasons. Besides - storing the Corvettes during the bad weather keeps the miles down and the hearts fonder.
