I have used this stuff for years ,first in my F350 diesel and in my C5 corvette,when I got my 2012 GS I first covered the floor behind the seats then the back portion,ant place I could pull the carpet up easily,the console piece is a drop in that I made from carpet with the peel n seal stuck on the back with the foil part down,it does lower the temps a good bit. Thre is a slight smell but it only lasts like one or two days,I have Asthma so any smells bother my breathing this stuff didn't bother me.it's worth the trouble for not to much money,and very easy to apply.
