C6 Fob

I just read through the five pages of C6's that will start without the fob in close proximity. Please, no more about that! Put the freakin' thing in REVERSE! I have a simple question of manual transmission C6 OWNERS: does the fob have a switch on the back to cut on (or OFF) the passive feature, (similar to the fob's of the early C5's) so that you must push LOCK/UNLOCK/TRUNK to gain entry to the car or for that matter, lock the car. If the passive feature can be cut off, than I'll wager the car's electronics shut down totally when the LOCK button on the fob is pushed, regardless of what gear the car is in. BTW, One month away from silver/cobalt 6 speed convertible. Yeah, baby!

you shut off the passive mode using the DIC. i shut off mine because i wanted to make sure the car was locked and i was in doubt with the passive mode.
