Please see problem description.
Does anyone have this condition/problem?
I have a bad squeak in my telescopic steering column.
My Corvette is equipped with RPOAAB (Memory) and is currently programmed for convenience/comfort control.
When the column extends to full up position, the column squeaks.
With extreme hot weather, the squeak stops.
What is the fix for this problem. Does the steering column need internal servicing or can the driver side knee bolster be removed and lubricate the telescopic movable aluminum parts with white lithium grease in car position?
Like Mark Reuss, Joe Spielman and many others, I'm life long Corvette lover.
