C6 spare T-Top Garage Wall Hanger

While surfing the net I stumbled upon a cool wall hanger for the spare c6 t-top when it is not in use. Well, dummy me did not bookmark the page and I can't find it. Anyone know where I can find it?

By the way, car came with clear top and not a painted top. I wanted a painted top for those days when I wanted to get away from the sun. A side benefit of the painted top is reduced cabin noise as it has sound deadener on the underside.

Wow, what a B##### finding one. Dealer fell apart, no answers execpt it would be over $2000, IF they could get one and they would have to paint it to to match (yeah, right).

Found a great used one at BOSAUTO.COM in Canada. Cost $900 Canadian, about $750 US. Good people to work with. After I bought mine they had 16 left various colors. I talked to Ron.

I would be very interested if you find that website again for the wall hanger. Having the top hang from the straps of the storage bag won't do it for me. Please let us know if you came across it again. Good luck finding your painted top. It's nice having both. Thanks, Jim

I found it at www.melroset-tops.com. They say C5 but the years listed include 2005. I fired off an email asking them if it will fit C6, if so I let ya know.

T Top Wall Holder for C6 Update

Spoke with Melrose, as built it will not work. Spoke Andy at Melrose and he felt it would work with modification so I am getting one anyway and will modify it myself. Will keep those interested advised.

Top Wall Hanger

I showed the picture of the wall hanger to a friend of mine. He said "I'll make you one for a ride in your new Vette." Since I don't have the C6 yet, I need some measurements. Can someone send some photos of their top, showing the latch handles. Also give me the exact distance between them. I mentioned that others might be interested in purchasing one of these. He said he could make them for MUCH less than $79.
