Yes, I agree- Fella in my club just paid a lot of $ to repaint his C5 vert.
It took over a month to get the job done.
He took it back twice for major flaws in the paint.
And then they put the rear emblem on off centered and won't fix it.
(He is talking to his lawyer at this time)
Subwoofer made all the diff. in theworld with the stock bose C5 system.
I added a nice beefy amp and a 10" sub to the rear compartment with a stealth box. Allows me to put the carpet and compartment covers back on. S o its a nice hidden addition.
Just for grins and giggles, I replaced the front twiddler speakers today with Inifinity 32.5 speakers. Crossovers fit between the BOSE eq box and the door subs. Held in with velcro. Wires connected up nice and neat and it does sound cleaner and has better high end now.
Was not able to get it out of the garage today to hear it on the road, but I know its a great improvement.
The ipod and XM radio share a cable that plugs into each one's headphone/line out jack. I guess with some cable splitters, I could plug them both in at once, but might fear signal loss. Its easy to just unplug one and plug in the other. (or leave one at home if I know I will just be listening to the other)
XM sits in my center glovebox and the iPod has its own mount off the side of the HVAC.
