C7 Convertible top operation 1.

Looks like the tonneau cover has to slide back rather than pop up to work at speed, very nice.

Have you tried opening and closing it while moving/driving yet?

I have only worked the top while parked.
I guess it would come in handy if you were working the top at a stoplight and the light changed to green.

Or getting caught in a rain storm in my area....

Slowing to about 30 mph and raising the top is much easier to do than finding a place to pull over and stop (similar to fixing a flat I guess). I am just curious to know how well it works at speed, and about how long it takes.

The manual says the complete operation takes approximately 25 seconds.

You can use the key fob to put the top down from outside the car.
You can not use the key fob to put the top up.

Center instrument panel shows icon of speed limit sign. Correctly changed from 45 mph to 35 mph in about 5 feet.

When you select the weather icon you get color radar.

I'm getting the Stingray clear wrapped today and tomorrow.
Everything except the trunk and rear end is being clear wrapped.
The hood treatment is gloss black with clear over it.
