Say "I" or "Nay" if you have eliminated your CAGS feature in your Z06!!!!

Blackvette says:"I"

"I" :D One of the easiest mods and I can still do the 1st to 4th in heavy traffic if I want - my choice, not GM's.
:_rock

eye, aye, I, ai yi yi!!!

Nice looking eb Z06. But then I am partial to that color and car.

Nah

I just don't drive the car like grandma....:D

"Nay"

STOCK BABY, STOCK !

I have found a handful of Z06 people that are not bothered by CAGS!

It drove me nuts especially in heavy traffic!

Best mod I ever did!

I

I actually had ordered it and received it before my car arrived. I drove home and it was the first thing I did. I actually "forced" the car to do it a few time just to see what it was all about.

Hi BV -

I have the eliminator - first mod I did - drove me nuts in traffic on colder days...

When Breathles did my LS1 Edit, it eliminated the need for the eliminator device. Now the light does not come on on the dash (it did so with the eliminator harness).

best regards -

Aye - It was done as quickly as I could get it accomplished. Only the removal of the Body Side Bumpers happened quicker.

Aye...just did it when I lowered the Z06 this past weekend.

"I". I applaud those that can drive the car with the skip shift feature intact. Even though it only occurred seldomly before I did the modification, I felt that I didn't have total control over the car and the way I wanted to drive it.

I have read at least 100 threads about this, and this is the best reply yet! Yes we can drive around it, but why be forced too. Nice work Z OH 6 ;)

Thank you slong. I certainly understand Chevy's reason for the CAGS, and like you, I'm sure, do very much appreciate not having to pay a gas guzzler tax on the car. But on those rare occasions when CAGS did kick in I didn't like to be forced into having the car's technology overrule my driving decisions. In my town, at least, I can't drive with impunity to the parameters that set off the CAGS. Now traction control and active handling - yeah buddy, good thing! :L

What bugged me the most about the CAGS was driving in heavy traffic.
I would try to get it into second but had to go into fourth.
Most annoying shifting action I have ever experienced.......
