What's the story behind this? You may need to zoom in on the pic by clicking it and clicking the magnifying glass. It looks like some sort of L98 engine and it most certainly has the Callaway logo on it.

Brandon, that does look like a 1987/1988 Callaway badged TPI Plenum. Who knows how that got in there ;shrug

A year or two ago, there was another white C3 shark that was "claimed" to be a Callaway project. It was not. The guy had emailed Reeves, who in turn asked me about it - Because of the racing heritage the guy claimed, I asked a good friend of mine who knows vintage C3 factory racers like nobody else, he called BS on it, making the decision as such, by everyone but its owner :eyerole

We should make a topic about "various" Callaway projects and projects related to Callaway. So it would list out the SuperBurban, Blazer, SSR, etc. And as for related projects, I know of a 3rd Generation Camaro that has a twin turbo setup that Mike Zoner helped with or gave advice on. :upthumbs

Are you referring to the one with the b2k motor?

I remember the camaro - it was a blue, IROC, wasn't it?? The guy did cite MZ as helping with some stuff, but I did not see where he actually worked on the project ;shrug

I don't remember. I just see it cited on google when I do my "Callaway Camaro" searches. Next time I find it, I'll make a topic in the Callaway sub-forum.

The only thing I do know is the guy has a huge write up on all the trials and tribulations he went through to get it to work... I've never read it though.
