The Maroon '87 is car #2 !!! I saw car #3 at an Ocean City, NJ Boardwalk Corvette Cruise this past weekend. It's a brownish colored car with cloth interior. Owner is from Delaware and we saw him at Carlisle last year. (not sure bout this year)

Did you look at the pics of the engine on the '87? WTH is that on the upper radiator hose? I know they used truck engines on the very early TTs, I wonder if that has something to do with it.

Eric, Jack was at Carlisle this past year as well - he was parked next to his friend most days but was w/ us on Sat...

TAC - the rad. hose is part of the external thermostat used on the Callaway B2K's (mostly 88-89's) some 87's got it retrofitted...
I just removed mine and put it to the water neck per Callaways advice :beer

Ahhh... Thanks. BTW...anyone else think the '87 is just a tad overpriced? I see it closer to $30k.

I am sure it is a starting pont for the conversation... It is a VERY early car and one of the few w/ the "truck blocks" - not that that is better - worse - or indifferent but it is rather unique and seems to have been upgraded along the way (BIG Dymags & cooling system - wonder what else ;) )

These cars have started to climb a bit in value after hitting their theoretical bottom and have loads of "plusses" in their corner to add value.

I may be a bit partial to it, as it is equipped simailar to the very first Callaway I ever saw burning up the road (Burg / gray)

Enjoy :beer
